Ocracoke Lighthouse
Off Hwy. 12 on Lighthouse Rd., Ocracoke Village

Ocracoke is one of the oldest lighthouses on the East Coast. It was built in 1823 to mark the inlet at Silver Lake in Ocracoke Village. Grounds are open all year, and the base of the lighthouse is open for viewing in June, July and August. Donations requested. No admission. Parking limited.
