Divine Prime could be described simply as just another “restaurant offering upscale dining in an elegant atmosphere”... but that description would be woefully inadequate. Located in Market Common –
the heart of one of the Grand Strand’s newest urban communities – the restaurant’s massive stainless steel and neon red door extends an intriguing invitation. Guests who venture in find an absolute sanctuary of luxury dining – only the second restaurant on the Strand ever to be awarded AAA’s Four Diamond rating.

Sexy, smart and sophisticated, Divine Prime feels every bit like a chic, mile-high Manhattan eatery. Décor is urban and spare with soft lighting that functions as art. Fabrics, colors and textures stimulate the senses and add to the relaxing and sensual ambiance. This is one of the secrets that define the restaurant’s success; customers are engaged on every level – sight, sound, smell, touch and especially taste.

Creative without being intimidating, the menu focuses on fresh, local ingredients. Classics such as Oysters Rockefeller, Caviar, Caesar Salad, or Beef Carpaccio dusted with Hawaiian Black Sea Salt, the robust Veal and Truffle Ravioli, or the sublime Shrimp and Lobster Cake – appetizers lead with temptation. Do not forego a sample of the Lobster Bisque made from-scratch using old school French techniques.

The USDA Prime steaks reign as the menu’s leading light. Few of the nation’s most famous steakhouses actually serve 100% USDA Prime steaks; Divine Prime goes that distance, serving premium hand cuts seared to perfection on an 1800¡ broiler. Steaks and chops are perfectly seasoned as is, but can also be complemented with delicate accompaniments like Madeira and Truffle or Foie Gras butters, sautéed fresh mushrooms or even a true veal demi-glaze.

For those who favor the sea, the menu offers an equally tempting array. Large live Maine lobsters are always in stock, as are King crab legs, flash seared Ahi tuna, jumbo local shrimp and fresh oysters from around the country. Other signature dishes – confit of organic chicken or the delightfully light Mediterranean Sea Bass – are perfect for gourmands dining lighter.

And then there is wine. The selection adorns an entire wall in a floor-to-ceiling glass wine vault. The list is extensive and offers a full range of varietals and styles from around the globe. Eighty-plus are offered “by the glass,” in addition to an extensive list of premium spirits and creative cocktails. A knowledgeable staff will be happy help you pair beverage and sustenance that you won’t soon forget.

Locals are familiar with the quality, consistency and value presented by all The Divine Dining Group restaurants. Divine Prime is the crown jewel; its chefs and managers are singularly focused on creating a matchless customer experience. Visit www.divinedininggroup.com to see menus, photos and directions to each of the restaurants. Whether for an appetizer and a smooth glass of single malt Scotch, or for a full meal with friends, family or that one special person in your life, Divine Prime promises to exceed every expectation. Reservations suggested. Call 843-839-9790.
