The Lost Colony

This compelling drama has something the entire family can enjoy: lavish costumes, daring action, special effects, delightful comedy, music and dance. An absolute must-do event providing a uniquely Outer Banks experience. Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Paul Green’s drama recounts the events leading to the disappearance of the English colonists who settled here over 400 years. The breathtaking beauty of open-air Waterside Theatre sets the stage for an unforgettable night. Performed 8pm, May 28-Aug. 20, Mon.-Sat. (except on July 30, 31 and Aug 6, 7, 14). Meet members of the cast for autographs and photos after the production. Attend pre-show Backstage Tours at 7pm, reservations required. Waterside Theatre’s 2010 productions include: The Tale of the Frog Prince, Queen’s Fairy Quest, Simon’s Pirate Adventure, The Wizard of Oz and more.
