| Amateur radio is alive and well at the beach. The W3LRS 2 meter repeater antenna is located on a tower in Lewes and is at the 200-ft. level. The station operates on a frequency of 147.330 Mhz. + (PL Tone 156.7 Hz.). The 2 meter radio "open" repeater is run and operated by The Lewes Amateur Radio Society, P.O. Box 436, Lewes, DE 19958. Any licensed amateur operator is welcome to use the repeater. The Lewes Amateur Radio Society meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at The Green Turtle Restaurant at 12 noon, located in The Village of Five Points, Lewes, DE 19958.
