Welcome to the Kingdom of MagiQuest

Welcome to the Kingdom of MagiQuest
By: Olga Wierbicki

“Once upon a time in a magical kingdom far, far away . . .” Isn’t that the way all fairy tales begin? Not anymore. How about: There is a magical kingdom right here in Pigeon Forge . . .? Yes, that’s right. Right here in Pigeon Forge there is a magical kingdom, where a treasure lies hidden, where a princess cries in distress, where a red dragon waits in his lair. All you daring heroes and heroines need is a Magic Wand, and you could find the treasure, conquer the dragon, and rescue the princess.

The easy part is getting your Magic Wand. Just go to MagiQuest, located on the parkway in Pigeon Forge across from Walden’s Landing. MagiQuest is located in the multi-story building that’s part fort and part castle, with a green dragon escaping out the window. Once you purchase your very own Magic Wand, you will have magic powers and can enter the magical kingdom.

Now comes the hard part. To challenge the dragon and free the princess, you, the young magi, must first be found worthy and develop your magic powers. You must go on a Quest, and if you succeed, you must go on another Quest, and another . . . you get the idea.

With each riddle you solve, with each attack you fight off, you are given another clue or are rewarded with another magic power. You must search The Forest Realm, explore The Village, enter The Dragon’s Lair, and win your way through to The Castle. You’ll find treasure chests and princess tiaras, you’ll unearth crystal clusters, you’ll open a Book of Stars, and much, much more.  This is live-action, full immersion video gaming at its best.

Every success along the way, as well as every defeat, is recorded on your Magic Wand. If you don’t have time today to finish all of your Quests (Hint:  you have to master six Quests to challenge the dragon), come back tomorrow with your Magic Wand, and start right where you left off. If you didn’t conquer the dragon this time around, you can even try again on your next visit to Pigeon Forge.

But wait, there are more fun games to experience at MagiQuest. Try your hand at a mysterious game of mini-golf in the Pirate’s Lair, lit only with black light. Venture into The Vault and dare to rob it without breaking a single laser beam. Enter the world’s largest mirror maze called The Odyssey, and weave your way through a series of themed and interactive mazes.

Take advantage of MagiQuest’s combo packages, including their Super Combo for all four games. Not tired yet? Play another round of mini-golf outside at Firehouse Golf across the street in Walden’s Landing.
